Fishing

Blacknest offers some fantastic coarse fishing in its beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our ponds are in a secluded part of the golf course and the whole area is private, so anglers can enjoy the sport without interruptions. The fishing is currently restricted to the South Pond which is accessed via the track parallel to the golf driving range.

The ponds existed when the golf course opened over 20 years ago.  Subsequently, they were stocked but have hardly been fished since.  Blacknest have a variety of species in the ponds, including the Common Carp, Ghost Carp, Crucian Carp, Mirror Carp, Roach and please view our Fishing Gallery here
